It feels like winter arrived early in Somerset West this year. One minute we were melting in the heat of late March, and the next we checked the mountains had disappeared behind heavy rain clouds. When the cold settles into our village, there’s really only one thing locals want: a fireplace to cosy up to with a great cuppa.

There’s a certain energy building in Somerset West Central right now. Main Road has always been the heartbeat of our village, but lately it feels like that heartbeat is picking up pace.
