Please join us for the Indie Authors Rise UP: Fringe Fireside Chats book festival for independent authors and self-publishing service providers. Our third festival will be even bigger than before, and will be held in venues in Gordons Bay, Somerset West and the Strand from Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 August 2025.

Look forward to workshops on laws applicable to journalists, authors and content creators, as well as talks on how to self publish. Whether you’re a fan of fiction or non-fiction, there’s something for everyone. Get ready to dive into the world of the imagination of free-spirits and those who work with them.

Independent authors have to rely on an entrepreneurial spirit to get their work out there. They need your support! Like the Edinburgh Fringe, our festival is open access.
